Hi, I’m Jackie.
The first thing you’ll learn when meeting me is that I’m extremely extroverted and I love french bulldogs. In fact, I dare you to ask me about my 8-year-old (half piglet) Frenchie named Ezzy. I’ll most likely show you a handful of photos in the first 10 minutes.
When I’m not busy babying the crap out of my dog I’m usually in front of a computer or in a brainstorm working on my next creation. I’ve been designing and art directing in the digital and advertising space for over 10 years in the NYC area. I’ve worked for a variety of industries and brands in the travel, tech, and personal care categories. I’m a big creative thinker, art director, and photoshop wiz who dabbles in some video editing from time to time.
Outside of work, I’m passionately researching astrology. I love to discuss at length how “I’m such a textbook Scorpio” and when I’m not admiring the stars, I’m searching trash piles and yard sales for tired-old furniture that is begging for a new life. Used furniture just needs a little help from us to show off a brand new side.
If I had to describe my design style I’d say I’m an eclectic minimalist. I surround myself with pieces whether it be clothing, furniture, or art that will last through the ages and never go out of style but add little touches of color and pattern for a twist. This is usually my approach when beginning a creative project. I establish the core foundations needed to make a product or brand image clear and long-lasting, then add layers of personality to connect with the current times and make a memorable design.
